Hollywood, UK-based creative agencies tapped to publicise Hong Kong policy address
A Hollywood visual effects firm and a UK-based video content production agency have joined the Hong Kong leader’s efforts in publicising a policy address consultation and hailing the city’s achievements in attracting talent.
The six-minute video released on Friday featured a couple who, after working in New Zealand for more than two decades, chose to relocate to Hong Kong over Singapore, citing better opportunities for professional development.
It also featured companies that recently announced setting up bases in Hong Kong, including Digital Domain Holdings, a firm behind the Oscar-winning visual effects in Marvel Studios’ blockbuster films.
Last month, the firm said that it would establish a research and development centre in the Hong Kong Science Park.
“[Hong Kong officials] know what companies like us need,” Daniel Seah, Digital Domain CEO, said in the video.
