Sunday will remain rainy but temperatures are expected to further drop to between 25 and 28 degrees.

The minimum temperature is forecast to remain at 24 degrees on Tuesday with a maximum of up to 28 degrees. Moderate winds are expected.

Gabriel Fan Man-hei, a scientific officer with the Observatory, said the cool weather was partly due to a strong northeast monsoon that was expected to reach southern China on Sunday.
