The Senior Mixed Voice Choir of St Paul’s Co-educational College, which recently won two gold medals at an international festival in July, will be among 1,000 students and young people set to sing patriotic songs.

The Next Generation Chorus Performance organised by the Tourism Commission will take place on the eve of National Day at 8.30pm on Monday at the West Kowloon Cultural District’s Art Park.

A show featuring 2,099 drones will also take place to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China. The number of drones is the sum of “75” and “2024”.

Students and youth groups will sing “Standing Up”, “Growing Prosperous” and “Becoming Strong”, among others. Singer turned politician Kwong will perform the patriotic education theme song “Our Home”.
