The late billionaire Nina Wang Kung Yu-sum and her confidant Peter Chan Chun-chuen had sex the night they reunited after three years apart, but they stopped because Wang, who had cancer, was in pain, the self-styled fung shui master claimed.
Chan made the claim in a statement in 2008 during his unsuccessful probate battle for Wang's fortune. It was read out in the Court of First Instance yesterday during his trial on a charge he forged the will used in that battle.
On Thursday, the court heard Chan's claims they had "loving" and "passionate" sex in a relationship that began with a head massage and developed rapidly into greater intimacy.
The court yesterday heard Chan said he did not see Wang between the end of 2002 - when she was arrested for allegedly forging her husband's will - and late 2005, when the charge was dropped.
Wang had suspected she was under surveillance and feared their relationship would be exposed, he said.
Speaking of their first meeting after the separation, Chan said: "That evening Nina wanted to make love with me." But she complained of pain and "I stopped her immediately out of concern for her health".
