League of Social Democrats’ executive committee member Raphael Wong Ho-ming reported to the Independent Commission Against Corruption on Wednesday morning as part of a probe into allegations of election bribery against Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying.

It was the first time Wong had reported to the ICAC since filing a complaint against Leung last week based on accusations by former Leung supporter Lew Mon-hung.

Lew claimed in numerous media interviews that the chief executive had reneged on a promise to appoint him as a member of the Executive Council in exchange for Lew supporting Leung’s candidacy for the position of chief executive.

“This incident [the promise] reveals a possible political reward from Leung to one of his core supporters, and the absurdity of the small circle election.” Wong said.

Wong delivered to the ICAC a compact disc on which he had downloaded interviews with Lew on various radio shows as support for his complaint against the chief executive.
