A “four-legged chicken” has been found on a farm in Shandong province in eastern China, according to a news website report.
The animal was discovered by the owner of the chicken farm near Heze, the website Dzwww.com said.
The chicken, which is more than a month old, has been taken home by the farm owner, whose full name was not given.
The animal has two normal legs, plus two limbs on the lower part of its body.
It is able to run normally, according to the report.

The chicken attracted nearly 50 curious visitors after it was taken home on Monday.
The farmer’s daughter was quoted as saying that the animal was running around on Monday morning, but could barely move in the afternoon.
“Maybe the chicken was too scared. It looks like it’s dying,” she said.
A local farming official told the website the chicken had an abnormal body, but that its meat was fine and could still be eaten.
Zhu’s daughter said she would not eat the chicken because it was too small.
