At least 10 Chinese residents injured after suspected gas explosion at block of flats

At least 10 people were injured on Friday morning after an explosion at a block of flats in northeast China, Xinhua reported.
The blast, believed to have been caused when a liquified gas tank ignited, occurred at 5am and caused the partial collapse of the building in Longgang district in Huludao City, in Liaoning province.
The injured have been rushed to a local hospital and rescue workers are now at the scene.
On May 31, a similar explosion at another block of flats in Huludao left two people dead and 11 others injured and caused part of the building to collapse.
