IWC celebrates 150 years of history with pop-up store at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay
The store features a small cafe manned by Urban Coffee Roaster, and IWC watches are on display
Who knew watches and coffee would go so well together?
IWC Schaffhausen is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, and it’s pulling out all the stops, including a special pop-up event complemented with a good caffeine kick.
Located at the lively Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay, the pop-up takes up two floors of space spread across 3,000 square feet. A double-height glass facade, which echoes the look of the original IWC manufacture, gives the space a vintage look and feel.
Nestled inside the pop-up is a little cafe manned by Urban Coffee Roaster, with coffee served in cups paired with coffee sleeves featuring IWC watches. There are also interactive digital stations where watch enthusiasts can play games with a chatbot and other attractions.
In the centre of the ground floor is a “time machine” depicting the maison’s founding year, 1868. A highlight of the ground floor is an exhibition featuring historical IWC novelties.
