Rolex renews focus on quality and creativity
Brand also introduces new models for Lady-Datejust, Datejust 41, Yacht-Master II and Sky-Dweller lines
The emphasis at Rolex is on expanding and updating iconic models with a renewed focus on quality and creativity.
The dial features luminescent Chromalight hour markers and hands. In a departure from tradition, a Cyclops lens is at 3 o’clock. The timepiece is water resistant to 1,200 metres and has a power reserve of 70 hours.
The Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona is offered in three versions: yellow gold, white gold and Everose gold. Accompanying it are bracelets made of Oysterflex, an innovative material that hides flexible metal blades within it to make it sturdier.
The dial is complemented by black monobloc Cerachrom bezel. Last year was the first time since 2000 that the brand had introduced a new Cosmograph Daytona, so this year’s new model was a continuation.
the brand’s slimmer and dressier line – received much deserved love with the debut of the Cellini Moonphase.
The timepiece features a sub-dial at 6 o’clock portraying two moons: a full moon made with meteorite applique and a new moon depicted by a silver ring. The moon phase complication is read via the indicator at 12 o’clock on the subdial.
