London-based designer Stella McCartney founded her eponymous label in 2001 after a successful four-year stint at French fashion house Chloé. Her career has seen her achieve worldwide success on her own terms, though she is also the daughter of one of the most famous musicians of all time, Beatles star Paul McCartney.
The 52-year-old also has strongly held views on vegetarianism and environmental concerns that stem from her upbringing, and make her one of the few prominent designers to shun the use of fur and leather. This stance on sustainability was cited as a factor in her being made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by King Charles in 2023.

Salute this principled queen of cool then by picking up these pieces, including her own Adidas by Stella McCartney court trainers, to echo her classy look.
