At this weekend’s British Grand Prix, Hamilton will be racing one of his favourite tracks, Silverstone, where he has won 8 times before – expect bold moves on the fashion front too

Formula One drivers don’t lack confidence. Their sport favours the fast and the brave and Lewis Hamilton has very much proved he is both those things, winning the world championship a joint record seven times – and piling up millions in the process.

The 39-year-old Briton displays those same traits off the track too, with his bold accessorising and modern stylings. His outfits clearly show his affinity with the fashion world and in 2018, he even launched a clothing line with Tommy Hilfiger.

This weekend, the current Formula One World Championship season arrives at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, on July 5-7, a track where Hamilton has won a record eight times. His Mercedes car is now closing the performance gap to the recently dominant Red Bull driven by current world champion – the distinctly lavish-living Max Verstappen – so it should be quite the race. But look out too for sightings of Hamilton in the paddock and at media events, showing an inimitable style that has him clearly out front in the driver fashion stakes.
