The regency-era drama has not only enchanted viewers with its intriguing, dramatic narratives and modern twist on the regency romance genre, but has also showcased some exciting new talent: Hannah Dodd and Florence Hunt, in particular, are making their mark as the younger Bridgerton sisters.

Who is Hannah Dodd, playing Francesca Bridgerton?
Season three of Bridgerton welcomes Dodd as the new Francesca Bridgerton, taking over from Ruby Stokes, who played the role in the first two seasons.
Hailing from Colchester, England, the 29-year-old actress launched into her professional acting career straight after graduating from the London Studio Centre, according to PopSugar.
She began her acting career with a role as Thea Raphael in the 2018 Hulu series Find Me in Paris, according to her IMDB profile. She went on to expand her television resume with Harlots (2018), Pandora (2020) and Anatomy of a Scandal (2022), while she appeared in Enola Holmes 2 on the big screen.
In addition to acting, Dodd is passionate about dancing, a skill she has been refining since childhood. In an April 2021 interview with Marie Claire, she revealed, “I’ve been dancing since I was two and spent four years training at a professional dance school. Initially, my dream was to become a professional dancer before I even considered acting.”
Who’s Florence Hunt, playing Hyacinth Bridgerton?
The 17-year-old had already begun building her acting resume before joining Bridgerton, according to The Media Eye. She appeared in Netflix series Cursed in 2020, portraying a younger version of Katherine Langford’s character, Nimue. She has also appeared in several commercials, including one celebrating Lloyds Bank’s 250th anniversary in 2015.
Hunt has also explored theatre. According to Variety, in 2021, she took to the stage in the role of Vera in the stage adaptation of Force Majeure at the Donmar Warehouse.
Looking to the future, she is poised to broaden her career in the film industry with her coming feature debut in Queen at Sea. She will star alongside renowned actors such as Juliette Binoche, Tom Courtenay and Anna Calder-Marshall.
