  • Taylor Swift joined the billionaire club this year thanks to her Eras tour, concert film and merchandise – and was even named Time’s Person of the Year – but then Beyoncé had the Renaissance tour first …
  • Beyond singing, pop stars like Dolly Parton and Victoria Beckham make millions from smart business deals – with Rihanna’s 10-figure fortune mainly coming from her hugely lucrative beauty brand Fenty

Thanks to Taylor Swift’s highly bankable Eras tour and Beyoncé’s awe-inspiring Renaissance tour, both pop divas have solidified their status as the most successful – and bankable – divas on the planet, with the “Cruel Summer” singer officially joining the three-comma club for the first time. But even with the boost in her bank balance, Swift still isn’t sitting on the throne reserved for the world’s richest female pop star.

So, can you guess who comes out on top? Based on Forbes and Celebrity Net Worth calculations, here are the top 12 richest female pop stars at the close of 2023 …

Despite her age, Cher still looks as fabulous as ever. Often dubbed the “goddess of pop”, the actress-singer has earned her millions through films like Burlesque and Moonstruck, and of course through musical hits like “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “Believe”. She recently performed her new Christmas hit “DJ Play A Christmas Song” during the Strictly Come Dancing 2023 live final.

11. Shania Twain, 58 – US$400 million

Although Twain disappeared from the spotlight in 2002 at the peak of her success, she still scrapes her way into this list. After battling with Lyme disease and suffering serious voice loss, she thought she might “never sing again”, she told ITV’s Loose Women. This April, the Canadian singer kicked off her Queen of Me tour in support of her sixth studio album – her first tour in nearly five years.

10. Jennifer Lopez, 54 – US$400 million
