The festivities are expected to kick off on January 7 in the capital city of Bandar Seri Begawan. The wedding should span 10 days, including the Islamic ceremony akad nikah to solemnise the marriage on January 11, followed by a reception on January 14, reports Radio Television Brunei. According to British media, the UK’s Prince William and his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, are likely to be on the exclusive wedding guest list.
