Grace Burns’ celebrity parents

Grace Burns was born on October 23, 2003, to two American celeb parents. Her mum is 54-year-old supermodel Christy Turlington and her dad is 55-year-old Edward Burns, an actor and filmmaker who has starred in hits including Saving Private Ryan, 27 Dresses and She’s the One.

Turlington rose to fame in the 1990s as one of the original supermodels alongside Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Claudia Schiffer. Her illustrious career has seen her work with every major luxury brand in the business, including Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein, Valentino and more.

Grace’s brother Finn is two years younger, and much more low-key. According to Guest of a Guest, the family split their time between New York and the Hamptons during the summer months.

It seems the genes are strong in the Turlington family, with even Christy’s doppelgänger nephew James following in her footsteps, signing with model agency IMG when he was 25 back in 2019, per WWD.

She’s pursuing a modelling career

Although this summer marked the teenager’s first official runway show, it’s not her first run-in with the fashion world. On her Instagram, she has shared photos of herself fronting magazine covers for Muse and starring in several photoshoots to boot.

In April, she appeared in a campaign for fashion designer Carolina Herrera with her mum.

She’s a photographer and writer

As seen on her social media and photography website, Burns has an eye for a good photo, often capturing people in candid moments. She’s also dabbled in writing, launching two magazines so far (By Grace Vol. 1 and By Grace Vol. 2), which have both sold out on her website.

In the editor’s note of her first edition, Burns shares that, “By Grace is the most honest reflection of myself as I am right in this moment.”

She runs marathons

Mum and daughter keep fit together. In November 2021, they ran the New York Marathon together for the first time.

According to Hello! magazine, the two took on the challenge to raise money for Turlington’s charity Every Mother Counts. The supermodel reportedly launched the organisation after experiencing post-partum complications following her daughter’s birth.

It seems that Burns is indeed dating, and the lucky man is also the child of a celeb. According to media reports (and photos on her Instagram), she appears to be in a romantic relationship with Elijah Hewson – the son of U2 frontman Bono.
