In 2010, Angelina Jolie gave Brad Pitt a 200-year-old olive tree to adorn their estate in the south of France. The tree was reportedly worth US$18,500.

The couple, who met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004, still co-own the 500 hectares of vineyard Château Miraval in the heart of Provence, despite splitting up in September 2016.

Former Friends actress Courteney Cox – or, Monica, as we still fondly call her – once bought her husband, Scream star, David Arquette, an antique carousel horse for Valentine’s Day. It cost her US$45,000. The two have remained on good terms since their 14-year marriage ended in 2013.
