Early life
Born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1997, she was raised in Melbourne, Australia from the age of seven. She was only 15 when YG Entertainment discovered her talent at an audition in Melbourne. After training for 4 years and two months, Rose Park Chae-young joined BLACKPINK.
She was a cheerleader at high school and sang in church choirs
