Here are five new winning collaborations we’ve got our eyes on.
1. Givenchy x Mr. Bags
Givenchy has partnered with famous Chinese influencer Tao Liang, known to the world as Mr. Bags, to create an exclusive limited-edition run of the label’s popular Voyou bag. The special-edition bag was made available exclusively to China via Mr. Bags’ WeChat mini-programme store from July 25.
Famous for his sense of style and fashion insights, Liang’s name is synonymous with luxury handbags to his fans. He has worked with the world’s biggest fashion houses, including Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Chanel, Christian Dior, Valentino and Gucci.
This is the third collaboration between Mr. Bags and Givenchy, according to WWD. They teamed up in 2017 to create a limited-edition pink Mini Horizon handbag, then again in 2018 for the release of 168 GV3 handbags.
Givenchy first revealed the Voyou during its spring/summer 2023 fashion show. The label touts the piece as a versatile everyday bag, and its design is a sophisticated yet casual slouchy silhouette.
