Paying off family debts

There was a time when McGregor’s father, Tony, could hardly afford to keep his taxi on the road. But that all changed when his son hit payday. After UFC 189 nearly five years ago, the fighter called a family meeting. He said he would be clearing all their debts, paying their bills and bought them all brand new BMWs.

An entire theme park for his loved ones

How do you celebrate making close on €100 million (US$112 million) from a fight? Well, hire an entire theme park for you, the family and friends, of course. After his fight against Mayweather, McGregor made sure to celebrate the big financial bonanza by having some fun at the Funderland theme park with everyone who “made a difference” in his life.
