Grace Kelly
Academy Award-winning actress Grace Kelly left a successful Hollywood career to marry the love of her life, Prince Rainier III of Monaco. Eternal Lifestyle reports that in 1955, Kelly was filming what would be her last Hollywood film in France, To Catch a Thief, when she happened to catch Prince Rainer’s eye.
Despite objections from the actress’ father, the pair were married a year later, making Kelly the princess of Monaco. Unfortunately, her husband wouldn’t stand for any mention of Kelly’s past success so her films were banned in Hollywood. So, Kelly left Hollywood – permanently.
