Gucci’s Michelin-starred Osteria Massimo Bottura collaboration opens new restaurant in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles
It’s welcome to Hollywood for the Italian fashion house’s high-end restaurant concept which after the Florence debut venue was crowned in the Michelin Guide Italy 2020, is now hitting LA’s Rodeo Drive
Looking for a relaxing lunch with a view? Look no further. Hot on the heels of the Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Florence comes the Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura Beverly Hills, fittingly located on the roof of the brand’s Rodeo Drive boutique in Los Angeles.
The Michelin-starred chef’s latest eatery is a first for both Gucci and Bottura, despite the house’s long history with American glitterati. The new Osteria will combine culture, food and fashion, and surround diners with Gucci Décor touches: traditional herringbone wood floors, red marble tabletops, cherry red velvet banquettes, and expansive views of Beverly Hills from the outdoor terrace decked in Italian marble mosaic flooring and an antique pulpit bar.
Florence’s chef de cuisine Karime López helped Mattia Agazzi develop the menu in LA, which uses classic Italian dishes in cross-cultural innovation inspired by the chefs’ international careers, travel and the arts. California-inspired dishes using fresh local organic ingredients will sit alongside Bottura’s renowned tortellini. Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills opens this month.
