The new high-spec sports car has a top speed of 325km/h (202mph) and can accelerate from 0 to 100km per hour (62mph) in just 3.3 seconds

From Sant’Agata in Italy, and straight into car lovers’ hearts the world over, the Huracán EVO RWD (rear-wheel drive) has been unveiled by sports car manufacturer Lamborghini.

The new model has a top speed of 325 km/h (202mph) and can accelerate from 0 to 100km per hour (62mph) in 3.3 seconds. The lightweight (1,389kg) car delivers 610 horsepower at 8,000rpm.

The return to the rear-wheel drive naturally aspirated V10 engine promises a return to the true essence of a Lamborghini.

The engine provides a unique driving experience in all kinds of weather conditions. The new performance traction control system provides smooth driving even when the car is side-slipping in rain or snow.

Small changes on the exterior – like the new, re-positioned F-duct twin cannon-like exhaust and Y-shaped electric concept headlights, clearly differentiate it from its Huracán stablemates.

New front and rear features include a front splitter and vertical fins within the larger front air intakes.

Both the exterior and interior of the car – which has a 21cm (8.4-inch) panel in the central tunnel – can be customised in terms of colour and trim.

Lamborghini has refined its driving dynamics and added the magnetorheological suspension system – dynamic steering that provides the driver with a more direct response and outstanding handling performance.
