Stefano Ricci’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection echoes the classic Italian lifestyle – with Venice as the perfect backdrop
New collection makes it easy for men to switch from work to leisure mode as well as for formal occasions
Italian luxury brand Stefano Ricci unveiled its Fall/Winter 2020 collection at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco in Venice, where the brand filmed its new campaign.
Referencing the majesty and magnificence of the city, the new collection fuses masculinity and elegance, featuring reinvented silhouettes that are more versatile, and easy for men to transfer from work to leisure mode as well as formal occasions.
Suits and coats in natural beige, grey, elegant Ricci blue and mirtillo shades, warm cabernet red and whisky tan are paired with upscale wools, technical silk, suede and light shearling.
Other sumptuous materials include premier vicuña and silk linings that are soft to the touch, and waterproof treated cashmere applied in coats with sheared mink fur lining.
The house’s iconic Octagon Eagle icon and intertwined SR logo are woven into the hem of the embroidery and outfits, and are also seen in accessories.
Besides the label’s recognisable tailored jackets embodying sophisticated Italian craftsmanship, the new season highlighted more relaxed shapes such as jackets without a front dart and urban field jackets with internal drawstrings that echo classic Italian lifestyles.
