Netflix has announced the launch of a new original South Korean television series, Memories of the Alhambra.

Fans will be excited to see the handsome actor Hyun Bin, best known for his leading roles in the television dramas Secret Garden and My Lovely Sam-Soon, team up with actress Park Shin-hye (Pinocchio and Heirs).

Both Hyun and Park are major stars, not only in South Korea, but throughout Asia.

The show, written by screenwriter Song Jae-jung (Queen and I, Nine and W), has been directed by Ahn Gil-ho (Stranger), and produced by Studio Dragon, which was one of the production companies involved in the making of this year’s hit Netflix television series, Mr. Sunshine, starring Lee Byung-hun.

Memories of the Alhambra is a romantic drama about a businessman Yoo Jin-woo (Hyun), the CEO of an investment company, who visits Spain for work and gets involved in a mysterious incident after staying at an old hostel run by Jung Hee-joo (Park).

The much-anticipated show will be launched globally on the Netflix streaming service from December 1.
