The special Art Edition of the book comes with a Marc Newson bookstand that resembles a 120-cylinder engine

Ferrari, the Italian carmaker founded in 1947 by Enzo Ferrari, continues to be a driving force in pop culture. Publishing company Taschen has released an exclusive book, written by Pino Allievi, for Ferrari fans and collectors. Allievi worked closely with Enzo Ferrari and wrote Ferrari racconta, the founder’s last

work.

numbered copies. Of those copies, 250 are an Art Edition (US$30,000) which comes with a sculptural bookstand designed by Marc Newson. The bookstand resembles a 120-cylinder engine in hand-bent flares chromed steel. The Art Edition is not only signed by Piero Ferrari, but also by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO, Sergio Marchionne, and Exor CEO, John Elkann.

Both the regular edition and the Art Edition feature unseen photographs, drawings and sketches from Ferrari’s archives. There are also original documents of famed Ferrari drives, and a never-seen-before appendix that has records of Ferrari’s victories since 1947.
