Style Edit: Omega’s watches for spring extend its space saga, from using meteorite material on Constellation dials to a new Speedmaster Moonwatch first seen on James Bond’s wrist
- The Constellation collection’s new additions feature material from the Muonionalusta meteorite, used to craft one-of-a-kind dials with irreplaceable patterns
- The new Moonwatch reverses the colour theme of the 1957 Speedmaster – Omega ambassador Daniel Craig of 007 fame was the first to be spotted wearing it
As nature comes to life in spring, so too does our fashion. A more colourful, lighter look calls for accessories accentuating the spring palette. Watches and jewellery are ways to transform a look, turning it from casual to relaxed or sophisticated.
Omega’s range of timepieces, both for women and men, provides that great accent to liven up the season.
Omega uses advanced colour treatment technologies to bring even more depth and visual impact to the meteorite’s material. The colour treatments in the series include rhodium-grey, Moonshine gold, an icy blue-hued number, and one in lilac.
The 20-piece line-up features five dial executions in each of the four sizes – 25mm, 28mm, 29mm and 41mm – ranging from bold to elegant to dainty. The pieces are presented in a mix of alloys, including numbers in stainless steel, and some with 18k yellow gold or Sedna gold accents.
