Style Edit: Richard Mille’s RM 07-01 collection brings know-how with ceramics, lots of diamonds and a sophisticated in-house CRMA2 calibre to women’s watches
- The models use the brand’s Carbon TPT, Gold Carbon TPT, ATZ white and TZP black ceramics, while possible combinations include red or white gold dials, with diamonds, black sapphires, jasper, onyx and mother of pearl
- The CRMA2 calibre includes a variable-geometry rotor that ensures optimal energy production based on the wearer’s activity level, a fast-rotating barrel and a free-sprung balance wheel
Ever since Richard Mille introduced its first timepiece in 2001, its watches have become highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. Combining the best of cutting-edge innovative technology with a strong artistic and architectural dimension, each timepiece is finished and assembled by hand, and embodies the finest in haute horlogerie.
The RM 07-01 eschews all conventions with its touch of colour, elegance and incredible ergonomics. At the heart of its open design is the in-house CRMA2 calibre, a skeletonised automatic movement specifically developed for this collection.
Other exceptional features include a variable-geometry rotor that ensures optimal energy production based on the wearer’s activity level and a fast-rotating barrel. A free-sprung balance wheel is the ultimate in innovation and guarantees greater reliability when subjected to shocks.
The CRMA2 calibre works in symbiosis with the emblematic barrel-shaped case and grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges which are micro blasted and then treated with an electroplasma finish. This emphasises the beauty and shape of the case, creating an airy bright look.
