Panerai has form when it comes to satisfying the requirements of particularly exacting groups of customers. For many years, the luxury watch manufacturer – founded in 1860 in Florence and based these days in Neuchâtel, Switzerland – was the official supplier of precision instruments to the Italian Navy, and in particular its specialist diving corps.
