It’s been an unprecedented award season, staged and streamed online, but at least we got to see the looks of celebrities strutting the red carpet, showing that the glamour of Hollywood never fades.
What also never fades is the everlasting charm of jewels. This season, we especially saw statement stones appear as beautiful droplets, as seen in Beyoncé’s one-of-a-kind Schiaparelli earrings, worn to this year’s Grammys, and Dua Lipa’s Chopard earrings at the 29th annual Elton John Aids Foundation Academy Awards viewing party.
Here STYLE has gathered droplet-inspired pieces from the major houses, whether created from artful arrangements of many smaller gems, or a piece centred around a monster ruby or sapphire guaranteed to turn heads.
