The Swedish brand has long challenged the status quo of sports apparel, pushing for more diverse colours and styles, sustainable fabrics, as well as a more inclusivity with a comprehensive women’s range

New apparel might not change your golf handicap, but J.Lindeberg's new seasonal collection, as worn by some of the hottest young athletes in the game, might just get you on the course a little more willingly this summer.

Indeed, it's a fact of life for every Hong Kong golfer that you have to brave the humidity and heat if you're planning a summer tee-off.

For those sweaty summer swings, J.Lindeberg offers fabric innovations such as the premium piqué fabric in the new Club range, featuring a smooth, silky lining to mitigate skin irritation.

Their specially-knit polos, treated with UV protection, also give a cooling effect so you can spend hours on the course with little worry about those often troublesome rays. (Just don't forget the SPF 30.)

The new Tour Dry System features water block technology between the exterior and lining, while the Seamless range, made with tech fabric to prevent irritation, now boasts two-tone fabrics with perforated panels for added ventilation.

The new collection's colourways might also come as a surprise to the traditional golfer – in vibrant shades of bubblegum pink, neon coral, as well as a purple animal print – but the Swedish brand has long-established its desire to challenge the status quo of sports apparel, pushing for more diverse colours and styles, sustainable fabrics, as well as a more inclusivity with a comprehensive women's range.

You're also in good sartorial company this season as the Scandinavian brand has managed to attract professional golf players Matt Wallace and Viktor Hovland as ambassadors for the spring/summer 2020 collection while they were on the PGA Tour.

Perhaps J. Lindeberg has yet to become a household name on the golf circuit, but who would say no to a little more functionable fashion on the green?
