- The first-ever Capella property in the Greater Bay Area will feature 57 suites and 36 unique ‘sky villas’ spread across 17 floors
- Hong Kong designer Albert Kwan – of London’s China Tang fame – is behind the interiors of Pony & Plume, a members-only alfresco cigar and cocktail lounge – guests can also chill at the infinity pool
The first-ever Capella property in the Greater Bay Area will feature 57 suites and 36 unique “sky villas” spread across 17 floors, all designed by the renowned Paris-based firm Moinard Betaille, the mastermind behind global flagship stores for luxury brands like Cartier, Breitling and Audemars Piguet.
All suites come with their own private plunge pools and balconies boasting panoramic views of the Macau skyline, but it’s the sky villas which truly take luxury to the next level. Fully equipped with all the amenities you can think of – a butler pantry, games lounge, karaoke room and private cocktail bar, just to name a few – the villas are made for groups seeking an ultra-luxe, exclusive venue for hosting gatherings.
You’ll be able to take a dip in the infinity-edge pool and chill at the outdoor lounge if you’re not convinced.
Underneath the glitzy gilded exteriors and majestic features, however, the truly exceptional part of Capella Macau remains hidden in the design details inspired by Macau’s lush greenery and subtropical surroundings. This includes a “winter garden”, a lush potted plant collection, tucked inside each of the jungle-themed suites that offer a sense of privacy at the floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide breathtaking views of the scenery outdoors.
These design touches extend all the way down to Capella’s signature hotel lounge area, the Living Room, reimagined here with chinoiserie interiors and an eclectic art collection that reflects Macau’s diverse multicultural influences.
