The world’s largest such fair, the annual Salone del Mobile Milano (or Milan Furniture Fair) started more than 60 years ago to showcase the best in Italian design, but today attracts brands and designers from around the world.

Here’s Style picks of 11 of the hottest finds from this year’s first, which just wrapped in the Italian style capital.

Florence-based footwear and accessories brand Aquazzura first forayed into homeware in 2022, and has now launched its newest tableware collection, entitled Riviera. Impeccably crafted and chic, the plates are encircled with a woven bow design, with three variations to choose from. It’s available in two bold colourways: coral red and green-blue.

2. La DoubleJ

Milanese fashion and lifestyle brand La DoubleJ was founded by American-born former journalist J.J. Martin. The maison specialises in richly hued and vintage-inspired styles. For instance, these patterned linen napkins, inspired by the sciura (the city’s elegantly dressed older ladies) will add a touch of whimsy to any dining table.
