8 must-see Hong Kong concerts in November and December 2023: from music festival Clockenflap featuring Pulp, to British legend Morrissey, Chanyeol of K-pop boy band Exo and R&B star Keshi
- It has been something of a post-pandemic comeback year for Hong Kong’s concert industry, with shows from Post Malone, Jay Chou and the Backstreet Boys already done and dusted
- November and December will see a glut of South Korean artists, with shows by Exo’s Chanyeol, singer-songwriter Junny, rock band Se So Neon and girl subgroup Mamamoo+, as well as a K-Hiphop Fest
As the world prepares to bid farewell to another year, we take a look at some notable concerts taking place in Hong Kong this November and December.
1. Junny: Blanc Asia Tour 2023, November 4
Korean-Canadian singer-songwriter Junny has written songs for some of the world’s top K-pop acts, including Shinee, IU, NCT Dream and Exo’s Suho.
After releasing his debut album Blanc in 2022, Junny has since collaborated with seasoned Korean rapper Gaeko on the song “Invitation”, which was released earlier this year.
Having completed his tour of North America and Europe, Junny will kick off his Blanc Asia Tour in Hong Kong on November 4 at Music Zone E-Max at Kitec. Tickets start from HK$480 and can be bought on Eventix.
2. Se So Neon: World Tour 2023, November 14
Korean rock group Se So Neon will be holding its first ever concert in Hong Kong this November 14, also at Kitec’s Music Zone E-Max.
BTS and K-indie sensation Hyukoh have all praised the duo’s musical abilities. Hwang So-yoon, the vocalist for Se So Neon, has collaborated with musicians including Dean, Phum Viphurit, and RM from BTS.
Standing-only tickets costs HK$490 and are available from TickCats. Following the American and European legs of its tour, the band will play Jakarta and Seoul before heading to Hong Kong.
