Christmas dinner at Cordis, Hong Kong’s Alibi restaurant on December 24 and 25 features a festive buffet with multiple food stations including a seafood station packed with snow crab legs, Pacific oysters and scallops. Poached prawns and half lobsters will be served at your table. Other stations will serve cheese, cold meats, bread, soup including lobster bisque and assorted salads. Hot food choices include New Zealand lamb, seafood paella, maple-glazed gammon ham and Atlantic salmon. Roast turkey with stuffing is available at the carving station, which will also serve slow-roasted rib-eye beef. Don’t miss the foie gras with brioche and xérès raisin sauce. Amber
Why not celebrate early on Christmas Day at Amber with a four-course dinner menu that includes scampi with polenta and black garlic, shaved white truffles or wild venison. Dessert includes dark chocolate with chestnuts, black currants and rum. Later in the evening, there is an eight-course menu that includes bone marrow with sweet peas, shallots and black winter truffles, and aka amadai with celeriac, wakame, dulse and yuzu.
