- Pharrell Williams’ brings a youthful, edgy look to his spring/summer 2024 menswear collection, his debut outing for Louis Vuitton with suggests a brazen new direction for the heritage brand
Pharrell Williams’ flashy debut menswear collection for Louis Vuitton made quite the noise when it landed in Paris last June, and it wasn’t just because of all the stars who showed up on the Pont Neuf bridge that evening to watch it unfold (Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Zendaya were just a few of the A-list names in attendance).
Williams’ streetwear cred looms large over the spring/summer 2024 collection, with larger-than-life trunks, liberal use of varsity jackets, and tracksuits galore all reimagined in “damoflage” – LV’s signature damier chessboard pattern, but make it camouflage. What better way to welcome a new year than with this fresh, hip collection, which paves a new direction for the storied maison? For Style’s January/February issue, we look at this youth-inspired collection in a different light – rugged, undone, and maybe even a tad bit rowdy, just the way Pharrell intended.
