An outfit’s not an outfit until you’ve found the ideal shoes and bag to match. Here’s a few pieces that have caught our eye of late that just might overhaul your look, offering something from the eye-catchingly chic to the smart everyday staple.
1. Valentino Garavani x Porter
Valentino teamed up with Porter, the Japanese maker of practical nylon bags, for a range of accessories that debuted at the Rome-based couture house’s spring/summer 2024 men’s collection.
Marrying functionality and high fashion, the design of the pieces combines the codes of each brand. Valentino Garavani motifs such as the V logo of the Locò bags and the Toile Iconographe pattern in jacquard are both present, while the lining of each bag comes in the iconic Rosso Valentino, the house’s own shade of red.
2. Simone Rocha x Crocs
Shoe giant Crocs is not new to collaborations – from Balenciaga to Justin Bieber and Post Malone, the company has teamed up with its fair share of brands and celebrities. The latest designer to work with Crocs on a special range is London-based, Irish-born Simone Rocha. For her spring/summer 2024 collection, Rocha adorned three Crocs models with signature motifs such as pearls, crystals and jet beads. Some pairs come with built-in Rocha-embellished socks.
