In recent years, numerous male celebrities, including Pharrell Williams, Park Seo-joon, G-Dragon and Maluma have been spotted proudly donning Chanel’s designs.
Chanel is renowned for its iconic fashion and has long been associated with womenswear only. However, many of Chanel’s signature styles, such as tweed and Breton stripes, actually draw inspiration from workwear and menswear.

The brand’s visionary founder, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, revolutionised womenswear by introducing comfortable and liberating androgynous silhouettes, drawing heavily from men’s wardrobes. Despite this rich history though, Chanel has surprisingly only produced a handful of men’s looks, now highly sought-after collectibles, and never a full collection. And the brand seemingly has no plans to change that any time soon.
Nonetheless, Chanel has been building a loyal clientele of male customers as luxury consumers grow less concerned with gendering garments. This is even more evident at Chanel’s fashion shows, where male guests can be seen sporting the brand’s creations.
Here are 9 male celebs who’ve been proudly donning Chanel’s designs lately, from its iconic tweed jackets to handbags.
1. Park Seo-joon
The South Korean actor wore Chanel’s iconic bouclé wool jacket at the maison’s autumn/winter 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
2. Pharrell Williams
Louis Vuitton’s creative director for menswear Pharrell Williams attended the Chanel cruise 2022 show in the brand’s blue and white printed set.
