TVB’s Asia Super Young talent show is gearing up for an incredible season! With 65 contestants from various regions, including mainland China, Hong Kong and South Korea, the show promises to showcase an abundance of talent and potential from the region.
As an exciting twist, a temporary seven-member boy group will be formed after the show ends. Although the show was initially scheduled to premiere on September 3, TVB recently announced the postponement of the broadcast due to TVB executive and host Eric Tsang Chi-wai’s recent surgery, as reported by Mingpao.

1. Archie Sin Ching-fung: a star in the making
Sin, 25, started his showbiz journey in TVB’s Stars Academy 1 in 2020. With a notable fourth-place finish, he went on to release his solo singles “The Book of Fortune” and “Bug Fix”, showcasing his versatility and talent.
2. Karl Ting Tze-long: acting prowess
Ting, 26, has been acting since 2017, including taking lead roles in last year’s Freedom Memories and Get On A Flat. His dedication to his craft earned him the TVB Anniversary Award for most improved male artist in 2021.
3. Hugo Wong Yik-bun: charismatic Hongkonger
Wong, 23, has a magnetic presence that helped him secure 9th place in Stars Academy 1. Wong’s talent extends beyond singing as he also displayed his acting skills in TV drama Forever Young At Heart and costume drama Wu Xiang Chi Cheng.
