Rue Madame has grown into one of hottest fashion concept stores in Hong Kong

Since she founded Rue Madame in Hong Kong in 2010, Ariane Zagury has become a trusted fashion adviser, bent on finding the perfect look. She creates personalised wardrobes that are compatible with her customers’ lifestyles, all at reasonable prices. This combination has made Rue Madame one of hottest fashion concept stores in the city. The management of American Vintage and Phase Eight recently made Zagury a partner and entrusted her with the development of stand-alone shops. So she then set up the Rue Madame Fashion Group.

Lately, I’ve been … opening stores and stores and stores... Rue Madame, Whistles, Phase Eight, Clemence by Rue Madame, and American Vintage. We have 18 stores now, so we are keeping busy.

To me, Christmas means … family time. Opening your heart to friends and people. Although I don’t celebrate Christmas (I am Jewish), I love going to church, listening to the carols and drinking mulled wine.

My Christmas wish list includes …. fewer inequalities in the world and people to open their hearts to other people’s feelings.

My favourite place to spend Christmas is … New York City. To me New York City is the place where you get the strongest “holiday feeling” in the world, all the lighting is so beautiful and all communities will share joy with each other.
