Who is Boris Becker’s third wife, Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro? She’s a political risk analyst with a master’s degree in African Studies and speaks 5 languages

German tennis star Boris Becker’s relationship with the younger Monteiro saw adversity from the off when he was convicted of fraud in 2022, just after they began dating
Former world No. 1 tennis player Boris Becker may be in the news more for his controversies than his former sport these days, but one woman who’s stuck by him through thick and thin in recent years has been his wife, Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro.
Becker married Monteiro in Italy last September, with the couple exchanging vows at a spectacular outdoor wedding attended by 150 guests.

The pair began dating in 2022 and their romance came under the microscope when Becker spent time in jail for hiding assets during bankruptcy proceedings the same year, reported The New York Times.

So what else do we know about the loyal Wimbledon star’s wife?
Boris Becker: third time lucky

The Italian nuptials marked the third time the tennis sensation has been married. Becker, 57, wed first wife Barbara Feltus in 1993 and the couple have two children. They split in 2001 after it was revealed that Becker had had a one-night stand with a Russian model, who later revealed she was pregnant with his child.
He later married Sharlely “Lilly” Kerssenberg and they have one child together, Amadeus. Last September, in an interview with German publication Bunte, Lilly said her son knew nothing about his father remarrying and that he was not invited to the wedding.
