Joey Fatone is back on Broadway – and this time, his set list is pure nostalgia gold. The former NSYNC member has joined the cast of & Juliet – a Shakespearean remix with a playlist full of modern pop hits. Not only is he belting out NSYNC’s classic “It’s Gonna Be Me”, he’s also taking on Backstreet Boys anthems “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and “As Long as You Love Me”.
“I’m excited that I’ll be joining the cast of & Juliet!” Fatone, 48, announced last year, as related by The Hollywood Reporter. About singing songs by his former rivals, Fatone said, “Even though my loyalty remains with NSYNC, they still have bangers.”
Offstage, Fatone has often been spotted with girlfriend Izabel Araujo, 39. Since his official split from wife Kelly Baldwin in 2019, the two have been seen together at many a red-carpet event.

According to YourTango, Araujo was born in Rio de Janeiro on September 8, 1985. After moving to the United States, she and her family settled in Florida, where her mother, Magda Bruning, started Maggie’s Maids, a cleaning business serving the Tampa and St Petersburg area.
Araujo met Fatone when he was still married
In 2019, Fatone made headlines when he ended his 15-year marriage to Kelly Baldwin, officially parting ways with the woman he wed in 2004, per E! News. “Although Joey and Kelly are finalising their divorce, they fully support each other and remain committed to raising their two daughters,” his representative told the outlet.
