Who is Amelia Dimoldenberg’s dad Paul? The YouTuber may be famous for ‘dating’ celebrities like Andrew Garfield on Chicken Shop Date, but her politician and author father is also a public figure

Paul Dimoldenberg is a veteran politician who serves on London’s Westminster City Council, has written books about British politics – and whose work ethic inspired his daughter’s ‘hustling’
In October last year, Dimoldenberg was tapped to be the “unreal host” of Charlotte Tilbury’s first Beauty Show, hosting a star studded line up of A listers including Kylie Minogue, Kate Moss and Saltburn actor Richard E. Grant.
Still, fans have grown increasingly curious about the Dimz Inc. founder, drawing attention to her father, Paul Dimoldenberg, who is a public figure in his own right. But what do we know about the Chicken Shop Date founder’s dad, Paul Dimoldenberg?
Dimoldenberg is in politics

Paul Dimoldenberg graduated from Oxford Polytechnic with an MSc in town planning. He’s a seasoned local politician in London and serves as a Labour Councillor for Hyde Park Ward, Westminster City Council and as a Council Cabinet member for City Management and Air Quality. Per his LinkedIn page, Dimoldenberg is also the Executive Chairman of Quatro Public Relations.
When the Labour Party took control of Westminster for the first time in the 2022 elections, Dimoldenberg had to scrap his plans for retirement, now delayed until next year, which worried his wife. “When I went round with a bottle of Prosecco … my mum was there, head in her hands, saying, ‘I can’t believe this, he’s going to be working more than ever,’” Amelia recalled in an interview with The Standard. But she couldn’t be more proud of her dad. “Our stars are rising at the same time, him in his work and me in mine,” she said.
He’s an author
