American country music band Rascal Flatts will be among other acts such as Carrie Underwood and Billy Ray Cyrus performing at president-elect Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day on Monday, January 20.

Gary LeVox, the lead vocalist of the band, shared his excitement in an Instagram post on January 15.

“I am so humbled and honoured and grateful for the opportunity again to play the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States. I got to play it in 2016 and now Rascal Flatts will be performing at the commanders ball and I am so looking forward to it! Thank you to Governor Kristi Noem and Mrs Virginia – It will be a night to remember!” LeVox wrote.

LeVox has been the frontman for Rascal Flatts since the band formed in 1999. The group disbanded in 2021 but confirmed a reunion in 2024, and will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a nationwide tour that kicks off on February 13.

Along with his band, LeVox will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of his marriage to Tara Vernon.

During an interview with CMT radio in 2013, LeVox revealed that he met Vernon backstage at a gospel music festival – and it was love at first sight.

“I was actually singing backup for a gospel artist and we had done a show in Decatur, Alabama,” LeVox said. “A lady came up and was standing with her daughter, and we were just talking. And I knew at that moment that I was looking at my future wife. It was the weirdest thing ever.”

The couple tied the knot in 1999 and have since welcomed two daughters, Brooklyn and Brittany LeVox.
