Borrero is a social media OG! He joined Snapchat in 2013 as the company’s 23rd employee and its first business development hire. His LinkedIn notes that he leads Snapchat’s first ever partnership negotiations with various media companies and rights holders including the NFL, NBA, Live Nation, the International Olympic Committee and Fifa for the Olympics and World Cup. He also helped set up and drive the strategy for international expansion by opening offices in Singapore, Mexico and India.
Tookes isn’t the only Victoria’s Secret Angel to find love with a man who works for Snapchat. Miranda Kerr, the first Australian Victoria’s Secret Angel, is famously married to Evan Spiegel, the billionaire co-founder and CEO of the company.
