Meet Chelsie Kyriss, baby mama of ex-NFL star Antonio Brown: from her early Ohio days to their tumultuous on-and-off relationship … and the explicit photo of her he posted on Snapchat
Kyriss is a dedicated mother of 6, including 4 children fathered by Brown; the pair were engaged but never made it to the altar amid a raft of controversies surrounding the former athlete
During his 12-year career in the NFL, Antonio Brown was often hailed as the best wide receiver of the 2010s. Born in July 1988 to Arena Football League star “Touchdown” Eddie Brown, he showcased his talent early. After playing at Central Michigan University from 2007 to 2009, he became a draft steal in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft, joining the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In 2018, Brown allegedly caused significant tension within the Steelers organisation, reportedly throwing furniture from his high-rise apartment and nearly hitting a 22-month-old toddler. The following year brought multiple sexual assault allegations, including for rape. In 2020, he faced several domestic incidents and was charged with felony burglary, felony battery and misdemeanour criminal mischief. By 2022, reports emerged of him exposing himself to a female guest at a hotel in Dubai. In 2023, multiple arrest warrants were issued for failure to make child support payments.
Throughout these tumultuous years, his former partner, Chelsie Kyriss, remained by his side. So who is she?
Born and raised in Ohio
Born in August 1989 to homemaker Lynn Kyriss and sportswear company executive Todd Kyriss, Chelsie grew up in Springboro, a suburb just outside Cincinnati, Ohio. After attending a local high school, Kyriss enrolled at Sinclair Community College before transferring to Georgia State University Perimeter College.
While at Sinclair, Kyriss worked as a day care assistant and as an assistant teacher at Adventures Through Learning, a child care institution, from 2008 to 2010. After graduating from Georgia State University Perimeter College in 2011 with a degree in General Education, she transitioned into customer-facing roles, first as an assistant store manager for Baker’s Footwear and then as a customer service representative for Wilton Brands Inc., a baking essentials company.
