Meet Harris Dickinson, who stars in Babygirl with Nicole Kidman and Antonio Banderas, and in Steve McQueen’s Blitz, but who once struggled to land roles – the London native is dating musician Rose Gray
Unlike other up-and-coming British actors, Dickinson didn’t attend fancy schools; he says that’s made it hard to get roles, though he’s built a ‘pleasingly weird CV’ – he’s also dated Gray since school
Dickinson also stars in Steve McQueen’s latest film, Blitz, which follows a group of Londoners during World War II. The film premiered in October at the London Film Festival.

The Scrapper star was born on June 24, 1996, in Leytonstone and grew up in Walthamstow, both in East London. His social worker father and hairdresser mother raised him alongside his two siblings. Per The Guardian, he didn’t go to any fancy schools. Nevertheless, he developed a penchant for art. “Art was the only subject in school I really excelled in.
