Just this week, American actress and singer Bella Thorne, 27, made a splash when she launched her Bella by Thorne jewellery line, a collaboration with Walmart, in Los Angeles. While the Measure of Revenge star turned heads in a floor-length black velvet gown that featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and thigh-high slit, some wondered who the man accompanying her and dressed in a tailored black suit was.

The enigmatic figure is British producer Mark Emms, 45. After dating for nine months, Emms popped the question to Thorne in May 2023. She took to Instagram to share the news in a snap that flaunted her new engagement ring and new fiancé. While the pair have made several public appearances together during their relationship, Emms remains pretty low-key, with his Instagram set to private.

They met at Cara Delevingne’s birthday party

Thorne met Emms on a beach in Ibiza in August 2022. The pair were attending a birthday party for English model and actress Cara Delevingne. In an interview with Vogue, Thorne said, “It was love at first sight as the sun rose.”

Just a month later, after pictures of the pair kissing on a yacht in Mykonos, Greece, went public, a source confirmed to People that they were dating.

Thorne publicly announced her relationship on Instagram in February 2023, sharing a cute Lady and the Tramp-inspired photo of the couple sharing a candy necklace.
