Joseph Perez is the co-founder of Cherry Los Angeles, a popular streetwear brand that pays homage to 20th century Americana. The label is known for its ready-to-wear collaborations with companies such as Red Bull and the Los Angeles Kings ice-hockey team. In September, it launched an exclusive capsule collection with Mr Porter. “Some kids want to be doctors, some want to be firefighters,” Paris-born Perez told Mr Porter’s The Journal. “For us, it was clothing. Our idols were in clothing, so we’ve always wanted to work in this industry.”
