In a virtual message to a robotics summit in October, the director of the film mused that a real Skynet is likely to emerge from “one of the tech giants currently funding this multibillion-dollar research”, leading to their becoming “the self-appointed arbiters of human good, which is the fox guarding the hen house”.
In a direct comparison with his film, Cameron asserted, “That’s a scarier scenario than what I presented in The Terminator 40 years ago, if for no other reason than it’s no longer science fiction. It’s happening.” Still, Cameron, 70, admitted he was “bullish on AI”. After all, he had just joined the board of directors of the company Stability AI.
Meanwhile, Cameron’s wife, Suzy Amis Cameron, has her own vision of the future: she’s an environmentalist advocating plant-based nutrition.

What is Suzy Amis’ background?
Suzy Amis Cameron was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She grew up in a big religious family, who loved their dairy and meat. However, after watching the documentary Forks Over Knives (2011), she and Cameron adopted a plant-based diet.
It was because of her upbringing that Amis didn’t find it hard to let go of the Hollywood spotlight when she retired after 18 years of acting. “I’m an Oklahoma girl and I don’t care about the glitz and glam that happens in that world,” she told The Oklahoman.

According to People, before her acting career took off Amis was a Ford model. She made her television debut in 1984 in an episode of Miami Vice and a year later was on the silver screen in Fandango. Subsequently her on-camera vocation blossomed, Amis appearing in titles such as The Ballad of Little Jo (1993) and The Usual Suspects (1995).
