Jackson spent two years trying to help his wife break her drug addiction and deal with her mental health before an explosive argument in 2014. Months later, Willison revealed that the police had been involved in the couple’s drunken altercation, during which Jackson reportedly tried to strangle her. This became the last straw in their relationship. The pair divorced after nearly two years of marriage and fell out of contact.
Jackson was then taken by surprise when, in 2018, photos emerged of the once-glamorous model homeless and dumpster diving on the streets of Venice Beach. Now, her former husband is opening up about their separation and her tragic transformation.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Jackson referred to Willison as the “love of my life” but admitted, “The woman I was in love with is gone, and whoever she is mentally now is not who I knew.” The 44-year-old claimed that, near the end of their marriage, she grew increasingly paranoid and was suffering from anxiety attacks and hallucinations.
He says he spent big bucks on getting her therapy and medication, but she pulled off a “hostile takeover” of his finances. The ex-child actor, who played David Hasselhoff’s son Hobie on Baywatch, also accused her of orchestrating the viral abuse tape she released in 2015, claiming she “set [him] up”.
Willison’s claims came after other instances of misconduct from Jackson. In 2015, when Jackson was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house for exposing Chloe Goodman’s breasts, Willison urged her to press charges. In April that year, Jackson was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man, but charges were dropped. Just a few months later though, in August, he was arrested once again for allegedly stabbing a woman. This time, he accepted a no-contest plea deal that saw him serve several months in jail.
Meanwhile, in a 2023 interview with X17 Online, Willison blamed her ex for her current state. When asked where her life went wrong, she said, “My ex-husband. Getting married. At least I got divorced … He set everything up to do this to me.” More recently, Willison was spotted with bruises and a broken finger, huffing paint from a paper bag, per Radar Online.
